This comes with voltage output, while other models are a digital beam sensor. The sensors provide a relatively low cost system which offers excellent resolution and long term stability.
The beam sensor can be mounted both vertically and horizontally. These are provided with special mounting fasteners for horizontal and vertical installations on concrete structures. For monitoring differential settlement along railway tracks, installation may be required on wooden railway track sleepers. For such installation, mounting plates are available (at extra cost).
This beam sensor can be monitored with any suitable portable readout unit or connected to a data acquisition system using Busmux or multiplexer.
This beam sensor data can be logged and transferred through a compact wireless datalogger.
